What is Freedom …?

These writings are an expression of my own experience, a deeper look at ones self. They are offered as a guide to anyone who is awakening to their authentic self. 10 years ago I called these writings Mystic musings. I also offer personal guidance on request via email with your question.

Make sure you've read the previous post too.

There is no past, and there is no future, other than in the realm of mind.

However, total liberation can be realised only when every action and experience has been owned and transcended, accepting total responsibility. Because a predictable future is already the past, you have already experienced it. It's like the feeling... I have finally found the one I have been looking for 🥰😍... its familiar, that's why you want it, because you have already experienced it... and chances are you will soon get bored with it. Nothing in the transient world is ever satisfying for long. It is all from separation, that you are here to transcend. Just as you can not look into your own eyes without a mirror, you can't transcend the mind from the mind. Total liberation is when the mind stops its identification with itself.

Its like hitting the jackpot, when you don't know what you're going to get... it is a complete surprise.

When we no longer see through the eyes of a child we miss the magic of experiencing the world around us, and as such we are no longer fulfilling the experience of life. The American Artist Cy Twombly comes to mind. Twombly's work was simplistic and child like, pure expression through the exploration of mark making. Nothing less than total surrender is required here.

We were all brought up with religion and culture telling us that to die is a terrible thing, something to be feared. But I say otherwise. What dies is not you, only the concept of who everyone else thinks you are, based on the idea of what you believe yourself to be, having recognised this, one realises time and space are not real except in the linear world. And so

one was never born... therefore who dies? 🤣🤣 . Waking up from the dream. Sadhu's and yogi's knew this ultimate freedom. However, "rational minds" thought they were mad, or on some crazy weed, and others go so far as to do strange rituals & drinking disgusting concoctions in order to reach this state. All still concepts of "I" .... seeking.

To experience death of the perceived self is a challenging process, most often it is a process that mind will either try to hijack or dismiss. This is a time of breaking down the walls of self identification, and when it comes there is no saying no, not now... this is a time of ultimate surrender. It is a sacred time, find a safe/peaceful retreat.

One can only really point to what isn't .

There must at least be a recognition of what humans fear the most, it is of death.

Death reveals the mystery of life, and can be experienced while still being in physical form. The magic of this transcendence is to be celebrated not feared. Then, and only then can life be lived fearlessly. Like the caterpillar that turns into a butterfly. The magnificence of nature is a great example of this process. It is all an experience ... like great music and Art. There is no dictum or creed, and no one to understand anything. Now one is truly free.

The master bursts into fits of laughter when she realises... the joker is the trick player who has played the ultimate trick on itself .

To be in the world but not of it. The master sees everything and is no longer fooled by the illusion, instead living in harmony with all of life.

Being AUTHENTIC,...is living in surrender .

OM is the vibration of sound ... Through ones own liberation one liberates others, this is doing by non doing.

With compassion.

Namaste
